  Pillowcase Challenge

Mathews Sewing Center is participating in the national 1 Million Pillowcase Challenge.

Sew up some pillowcases for a worthy cause!

(We'll have everyone vote on where we should donate our pillowcases.)

We plan to have an event at a fall Bernina Club.

The pillowcases will be collected at the December Christmas luncheon, but you can start making them now!

You can create a design of your own, or use one of the free patterns from the All People Quilt website.

 

  Modern Mix Quilt

Do you like this quilt as much as we do?!

Then join us as we work on it together.

In this class, you'll:

• Use your Bernina Embroidery Software to create the unique combinations of embroidery and applique designs
• Learn to use the multi-hooping function in the software
• Gets hints for the hooping and multi-hooping when stitching

Purchase of the Modern Mix Embroidery Collection is required. Call Alice to order - - let her know if you want the designs on a CD or USB stick.

A quilt kit with the Modern Mix fabrics is also available (by pre-order), or you're also welcome to select your own fabrics.

We plan to start in late summer/early fall.
